Why Does My Bottle Inspire Me to Keep Exploring?

Some moments stay in your memory forever. Others slowly fade, lost among photos, folders, and travel journals we never finished. I was the same. I longed for a way to remember what I had experienced below the surface. But I didn’t want it to be complicated. Not a spreadsheet, not a logbook, not a three-page travel diary.

I wanted a ritual – simple, personal, and most of all... beautiful. That’s how my ocean bottle was born. And the very first sticker.

Small Stickers, Big Motivation

It might sound a little strange, putting stickers on a bottle like a kid. But you know what? It works. And it makes sense.

I have two collections:

• 🌴 Destination stickers – every time I visit a new country (Indonesia, Malta, the Canaries…), a new piece of the world appears on my bottle.
• 🐠 Animal stickers – for every sea creature I’ve seen with my own eyes (turtle, ray, dolphin…)

And my rule?

🎯 Only add a sticker once I’ve truly lived it.

 

Why It Motivates Me More Than a Checklist on My Phone

Each sticker is a tiny ritual. It doesn’t tell me exactly where something happened but it reminds me that it did happen. That I was moving. That I discovered something. That I was fully alive.

And the best part?
